Equipment Operator

Responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery used in construction, excavation, and other related activities. This role involves maneuvering equipment such as skid loaders, excavators, dump trucks, and backhoes to perform tasks including digging, grading, and moving materials. The operator must ensure that all machinery is used efficiently and safely, adhering to company standards and industry regulations.

Key responsibilities include conducting pre-operational inspections of equipment to identify any maintenance needs or potential issues, as well as performing routine maintenance and minor repairs as needed. The operator will work closely with construction teams and site supervisors to coordinate activities and ensure that work is completed according to project specifications and timelines. Effective communication and teamwork are essential for ensuring smooth operations and addressing any challenges that may arise on the job site.

To excel in this role, candidates should have a Class B CDL, clean driving record, have hands-on experience operating heavy machinery, a strong understanding of equipment safety protocols, and the ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints. Physical stamina and the capability to work in various weather conditions are also important.
